History In An Hour is looking to commission a number of new titles to coincide with the anniversaries of 2012.
We’re looking particularly for authors for the following subjects:
Capt. Robert Falcon Scott who died on his attempt to reach the South Pole in March 1912;
The 2012 Olympics;
Marilyn Monroe, died 5 August 1962;
Jamaica - fifty years of independence, 6 August 2012
The Cuban Missile Crisis, October 1962;
We are also keen on having a History In An Hour biography of Margaret Thatcher.

Content
The content should include:
- a narrative text of between 9,000 and 11,000 words,
- a timeline,
- ten to twelve biographies of key people
- and about thirty photographs or illustrations including those for the key people.
